You are asking about the significance of a fever when you have had chemotherapy. Fevers can have many causes. Your doctor checks your blood tests to be certain that your infection cells are sufficient such that the fever is not due to low white blood cells which can sometimes be caused by the chemotherapy.
Rechecking your temperature is a good idea. If it remains elevated you need to call your physician for instructions on what to do next.
Good luck.
