You will have an incision in the hip closed with staples. I inspect them for redness, swelling, or drainage. No bending at the hip or waist. Sutures will come out in about you weeks. Bo bending forward and using a walker or crutches. Walk often with partial weight bearing and device and watch your balance. Do not soak your incision and ask if showers are allowed. you will be given exercise or PT after your surgery. Finally, you will be given pain medicine. Take as directed.
