Sleepwalking can be triggered by sleep deprivation, stress, fever, certain medications, or underlying sleep disorders. It may also run in families. Consult a doctor if it happens frequently.
Sleepwalking occurs in deep sleep, usually in the first 3 hours of sleep, and can occur after nights of sleep deprivation. Usually a benign condition.
