When can I swim after neck plastic surgery?

I will have neck plastic surgery. When can I swim after neck plastic surgery?

In general, I prefer my patience don’t swim until I find that all the wounds are completely heal. As far as the incisions are concerned. Once the wounds are closed, they can’t get in the water, and the activity is limited to the extent of the operation.

There are a few techniques to do necklift and it may be combined with facelift. I don't do deep necklift. So you should always communicate with your doctor if you have any concerns.
I just give you my post-op care instructions that I tell my patients. You may expect swelling especially in the first few days; and if there are bruises, it will take a couple weeks to resolve. I do remove the sutures in a week to 10 days. You should be able to move your neck almost fully in 2 weeks but be aware the wound is still healing. If you don't move your neck side to side a lot when swimming, you can start doing it in 2 weeks. I advise you to go back to swimming in 6 weeks.
