“When can I use a laptop after LASIK?”

The very next day after LASIK you can return to using your laptop. I typically recommend short breaks every 30 minutes, as the eyes dry more quickly post-LASIK during the first few weeks. When we use a laptop, stare at a TV screen, or read a book, we tend to blink less often which increases dryness. So taking a break or instilling lubricating drops during the first month following LASIK is recommended.
