My friend will have heart transplant surgery. When can you return to work after a heart transplant?

While this is not my specialty, discussion should be done with the heart transplant physician. Most patients post any cardiac surgery will need to have cardiac rehabilitation after that the patient would be eased and to exercising and working

Check with Transplant Surgeon. Must start cardiac rehab.
