Your doctor should have reviewed this with you. Unilateral leg swelling, this can be a blood clot or signs of infection.
Usually, the doctor who operates will inform you when your post-op follow-up is going to be. Your post-op follow-up with your primary care physician should be 7 days after the surgery provided you didn't have to go to a rehab facility.
