Where is the pressure point for hip pain?

I have hip pain and want to treat it. Where is the pressure point for hip pain?

Without being “snarky” if you have pain in the hip, most probably you will need acupuncture in the hip.
There is no “point”, everyone receives a treatment tailored to his/hers needs. So the best course of action for you is to set an appointment so I can give you the treatment you need.
Yes
Wow, there are certain points that Ken effectively address hip pain, there is not a specific point you can press that will magically make it go away. There might be a reflexology points for that on the bottom of the foot though.
There are many pressure points for hip pain. It depends on the cause of the pain. Unlike Western medicine which only treats symptoms, in Traditional Chinese medicine we treat the whole person including the underlying cause. We don't just want the pain to go away but the cause of the pain as well so that it does not come back. Since I have no idea if this is low back that causes hip pain, sciatica, also hip pain, or any other of the many reasons for hip pain then there is no single point for hip pain.
There is an exercise I like to teach my patients the can identify where the pain is and sometimes relieve it as follows:
1. on each hand, there are 4 metacarpals to each of the 4 fingers (not the thumb).
2. Between the 1st & second as well as between the 3rd & 4th at the proximal end is a soft spot.
3. Rub each of these 4 spots to see if any are tender
4. If one or more are tender then move the hips around like you are dancing and massage the tender spot with strong pressure.
The name of the point is Yao Tong Xue (N-UE-19) - if you want to look up the point location.
It is best to just go and see an acupuncturist and they can teach you which points are best for you to massage.
I suggest you do massage on the back and lateral sides of your legs for 5-10 minutes a couple of times a day. See how you feel and increase the length of time and times per day as needed.
there are many points to treat hip pain
There is no one pressure point for hip pain. There are many points that can treat it, many in combination with other meridians. Your acupuncturist will know what to do.
It is hard to tell you where these pressure points are for hip pain. You can get an acupuncture book to find these points, they're located at the hip and thigh. All of them you can massage or do acupressure for your hip pain.
There are a variety of issues which can cause hip pain.

You could be dealing with a posterior myofascial chain issue, in which case the actual cause of the problem could be anywhere between your heels and the back of your shoulder.

You could have osteoarthritis in your hip.

You could have a front side myofascial problem, in which case the root of the issue could be anywhere from the shin to the abdominal muscles or the deep core muscles.

You might have bursitis.

You might have a pinched nerve, a bulging or herniated disk, or bone spurs in the low back.

You could have avascular necrosis of the hip, in which case acupuncture/acupressure isn't the correct treatment for you.

For the issues where acupuncture or Chinese medicine would be useful, the treatments will all be different.

Without knowing precisely where on the hip you're experiencing pain, how you experience that pain, and actually being able to evaluate the related chains of muscle and connective tissue there is no way for me to even begin to give you any kind of point or points that might be useful in your situation.

On top of that, in my experience, acupressure isn't nearly as effective as acupuncture. Acupressure results tend to come on more slowly, don't last nearly as long, and acupuncture is much more comfortable than acupressure in most conditions.

If you're interested in trying Chinese medicine for your issue, go to NCCAOM.org, use their 'Find a Practitioner' lookup, and visit a local board certified, state licensed provider.
