I was diagnosed with celiac disease. Is it serious? Who specializes in celiac disease?

Celiac is usually not serious, treatable by gluten free diet. Gastroenterology specializes in celiac. I would think that a GI doc is the one who diagnosed you. A dietician is best to advise on how to maintain a gluten free diet.
