“Why do my eyes hurt after eye exam?”
I had an eye exam yesterday. After that, my eyes hurt. Is it normal?

If you had dilated eye exam its possible to be sensitive to light for several hours.it is possible you could have a corneal abrasion from the pressure check . Which could make the eyes feel scratchy and irritated for several days . You should go back and let your eye care doctor reexamine you to get the answer.
The loss of focusing ability will result in discomfort in many patients.
