“Why does my 2 year old have an itchy and inflamed throat?”
My baby is 2 years old. I want to know why does my 2 year old have an itchy and inflamed throat?

It could be an infection. Getting a throat swab would help to determine if it is or isn't an infection. Also checking to see if any lymph nodes are swollen and the neck tender bumps in the neck that could point to an infection or without those point away from an infection
It is probably due to rhinitis induced post nasal drainage.
