“Why is my cat's leg stiff?”
My cat's leg is stiff. What could be the cause? Should I take my cat to the veterinarian?

It is possible your cat's leg fell asleep as our legs do if you stay in a position for a prolonged period of time with a lot of weight on our leg. However, there could also be other causes of leg stiffness, such as infection, immune-mediated disease, thrombosis (check to see if your cat's leg is cold) or neoplasia. If your cat's leg is stiff for more than a day, I would recommend taking your cat to their primary care doctor.
