Ear, Nose and Throat Doctor (ENT) Questions

Why the bump on my tongue won't go away?

6 months ago I experienced severe discomfort on my tongue, to the point where I couldn't even eat, which lasted over a week until it completely healed. Prior to that, the only food I ate for dinner the night before was crab, which I had never eaten before. As far as I can tell. It was reddish and swollen next to my tongue, more precisely on both sides of my lingual tonsil. After the pain subsided, I thought it was over, but I discovered that a cyst-like tissue bump had formed there. It was not painful, but it has remained for months and will not go away. I'm very concerned about it.
The picture attached was taken this month, the first 2 pic (week ago) and the 3rd and fourth pic (2 days ago).

Could be a papilloma, could be a mucocele... the lingual tonsil is at the back of the tongue and can't be seen through the front of the mouth. I would have it biopsied by an ENT. you could try to treat it with a topical steroid gel for a while. Clobetasol.
