Many variables play a role. Your blood pressure is checked constantly during surgery and anesthesiologist gives various things to keep it in target range. Blood pressure is one of the most common things we encounter, don't worry.

They should go over with you before surgery which meds to take and which to hold. During and after your surgery they will closely watch your pressure to ensure you remain in a safe range. Vigilance is what we’re all about. Try not to worry too much, I’m sure your team will take great care of you.
