Hi, can the start of appendicitis feel like a pulling/tightness feeling on your right side?

Yes it's possible, but more often it is a simple acute onset sharp pain in the right lower quadrant often accompanied by nausea, vomiting.
Appendicitis needs to be diagnosed quickly to avoid complications. You’ve gotta be examined by a doctor for an early diagnosis.
Usually, appendicitis is an acute process, so if this pain is present for a few hours or a day, then you should consider it a diagnosis.
