“Are nail gels safe?”
I've heard that using nail gels can actually damage your real fingernails as you get older. Is that true?

Yes, for the most part but, it depends on the ingrediants
Many people, young and more mature, have adverse reactions to nail gel.
Nail gels? If you are referring to the fake nails and the gel to glue them, then you need to be careful that your cuticle is not damaged. Water retention and a fungal growth or bacterial growth may develop. Please visit your dermatologist to get more recommendations and for your yearly skin exams.
