I am a 38 year old female. I want to know at what sugar level is insulin required?

At any sugar level. If your question means at what level of blood sugar should I change from oral meds to insulin then the answer is when the max doses of at least 3 oral agents will no longer control the BS (FBS 70-120, After meals 100-140 and Hb1c less than 7% or by some Drs. <6.5%).
