Blood in semen. Is this bad?

During sex, I noticed that there was blood in my semen. Is this bad?

Possible causes of blood in semen:
Brachytherapy
Chlamydia trachomatis
Epididymitis (testicle inflammation)
Excessive sexual activity or masturbation
External beam radiation for prostate cancer
Genital herpes
Gonorrhea
Hemophilia
Orchitis (inflamed testicle)
Prolonged sexual abstinence
Prostate biopsy
Prostate cancer
Prostatitis
Testicular trauma
Vasectomy
Needs to find out if it exist and finding the cause,
consult a Urologist to run complete physical and examination.
Hematospermia, or blood in the semen, is common and usually benign. That being said you should have a rectal exam and a PSA. You should also have a urine checked for blood. Most of the time it's benign and heals in a few weeks.
