Ophthalmologist Questions Burning eyes

Why am I having a burning sensation in my eyes?

My eyes feel like they're burning, especially while I'm outside exposed to a hot sun. Why does this happen? And, how should I approach this? Would eyedrops help?

It is probably due to dry eyes and over exertion. Eye drops would help in this case. Try to get non-preservative eye drops first, if it continues see an eye doctor.
Most often, the cause of your symptoms relate to dryness or UV exposure. Lubricant eye drops and sun glasses are very helpful.
You may have some seasonal allergy, that may get worse in hot weather. Cold compress and using some allergy drops may help.
