Hello,
If you father generally died my have any lung problems I would say no as long as he keeps active after his surgery. Meaning goes for daily walk and follow up all the recommended of his cardiac rehab.

Thank you,

Irina
It would depend on his personal history. If he has a history of smoking or working in an industry that he may have inhaled fumes or fine particles, then I would suggest following up with a pulmonologist when he has recovered from surgery.
