“Can an 11 year old get lupus?”
My daughter's doctor suspects that she actually has lupus after a few misdiagnoses. Is it possible for an 11-year-old to get this? It is in our family, and she does have the symptoms, but I've only seen adults with it.

Unfortunately, children can develop systemic lupus erythematosus. The fact that family members have SLE certainly increases the risk of SLE.

Hello Dear, yes it is unfortunate but children get lupus as well. Extensive blood work has to be done along with symptoms.
