“Can a bunion affect your knee?”
I am a 35 year old female. I wonder if a bunion can affect your knee?

Possibly, if the knee is compensating for a change in walking pattern or gait. Would suspect it would be a temporary knee discomfort, which resolves once the foot is addressed.
Any pain in the foot or ankle can cause problems higher up the extremity and even in the lower back. This is due to abnormal gait (walking) which results from the pain in the foot / ankle.
