“Can a child go under anesthesia with a cold?”
My child is 5 years old. I wonder if a child can go under anesthesia with a cold?

It depends on the severity and duration of cold if child has fever and wheezing than mostly doctor wait till it is over as it can increase the risk of lung problems post surgery however it depends on the surgeon and anesthesiologists taking care of child after looking into risk benefits analysis
No. Unless it's an emergency. It's too risky.
