We’ve helped many many babies with sleep and colic issues. Those are the most common reasons we see babies.
The baby can be helped by a chiropractor. There spine can move out of place and make them uncomfortable. A proper adjustment can help ease the problems of digestion and pain, to make them sleep better.
Not only can chiropractic care help a baby sleep, it would be expected for that baby to be more comfortable and function more efficiently when their nervous system is free from interference. I just adjusted a 2 month old baby boy last week that was colicky and not sleeping well and after one adjustment performed precisely at Atlas he almost immediately pooped and then fell asleep. When he woke up about 30 min later he ate. Mom has been reporting back to me that his naps used to be 30 min long at best were now more like 1 to 1 1/2 hour naps. Find a good doctor with experience adjusting and helping babies.
Chiropractic is utilized to optimize function of the body, primarily the nervous system. The nervous system controls and coordinates all processes in the body. When the nervous system is working better, the whole body works better. Getting your child adjusted would certainly be a step in the right direction, because you will be balancing his/her nervous system and helping regulate and balance function in the body -- all are important if you wish to get a good night's sleep, no matter how old or young you may be!

Definitely. Over 36 years of practice, I have treated many babies with colic and projectile vomiting with excellent results. These conditions occur due to nerve irritation in the cervical and thoracic spines. In my experience, colic has been resolved within 2 weeks of treatment. Some pediatricians are opposed to the idea of chiropractic treatment for children, but it is very safe. Children adjust very easily. My youngest patient was 3 weeks old and responded well.

Chiropractic may be able to help with those issues. Depending on how the delivery went, the baby may have sustained a possible neck subluxation. There are even chiropractors that are specialized in dealing with newborns. At our practice, we have seen remarkable results with a few treatments.
