“Can Doctors Just Prescribe Pain Medication?”
Are there any doctors that still prescribe pain medications and don't put you through unnecessary procedures? I'm 60-years-old, I know what works for me, and I suffer 24/7. I just want to remain independent and clean my house, shower, go walking.

There has been a trend away from high dose opioids. Many providers have lost their license or have been put in jail for frivolous prescribing practices. Patient’s often don’t understand and that can be frustrating but many studies show that patients on higher doses of opioids aren’t any more productive.
