In a COVID-19 patient a high creatinine level is not a good sign. It could be life treathening. It means the patient has a severe kidney disease. Patient may be on hemodialysis from chronic kidney failure and this is dangerous in a COVID-19 patient.
Your lab results reflect a chronic condition related to either primary or secondary kidney disease, or heart disease or diabetes, or some other underlying condition. Given that, you are at a higher risk of illness, sickness, and morbidity if infected with the coronavirus. Managing your health becomes your immediate concern. Protect yourself. Maintain a healthy weight and excellent nutrition. The virus affects people with heart disease and hypertension even more.
