“Can I have more than one root canal in a day?”
I believe I need to have three root canals soon. Is it possible to get them all taken care of in one day?

Having 3 root canals at one appointment is a possibility. If you are using dental insurance, you may reach your maximum year allowance after one or two teeth. Talk to your endodontist's office. If you are financially prepared to meet your patient/insurance responsibilities, your endodontist may be able provide the time.
You can get more than one in a day, but it will be very tiring for you. Your jaw will be sore from being open so long. If you’re talking about more than one root canal in a day, we’re usually dealing with several hours of treatment. Talk it over with your dentist. It may make sense to do one at a time.
Depending on which teeth, it is possible to do more than 1 in a sitting. If they are all molars (back teeth), then I would NOT recommend doing more than 1 at a time.

If they are on the same quadrant, that is okay. Be mindful you don’t overwhelm yourself; let your dentist make that decision. We want our patients to be able to eat, so get the ones that are on one side in one visit and the other side at another time.
It is possible to have multiple root canals in one day. It especially makes sense and is more efficient to do it that way if the teeth are in the same quadrant of your mouth. However, you should realize that doing all three may take more time than doing them one or two at a time, so you will have to keep your mouth open for a longer period of time. You may also experience more post procedure discomfort than if you did them separately, but that is not definite.
