Cardiologist Questions Arrhythmia

Can people with arrhythmia lead a full life without treatment?

I have an arrhythmia but I don't want to take meds to really manage it. Can people with arrhythmia lead a full life without treatment?

Yes, usually. Of course, it depends on the type of arrhythmia and the treatment history.
There are many types of arrhythmia which simply means irregular heart beats. Most are quite benign and cause no problems, but some do need drugs if the heart is beating too fast or for other reasons. But none should affect your ability to lead a full life.

Irregular heart beat or arrhythmia is never a normal thing. Some arrhythmia are more dangerous than others, but all of the arrhythmia can be life threatening.
Even seemingly more benign arrhythmia can result in heart failure and death if left untreated.
For these reasons, I would highly recommend that you do seek medical attention to see how to treat arrhythmia and what treatment would have minimal adverse effects. It is very important to look into causes of arrhythmia and potentially treat arrhythmia by eliminating the cause, or to minimize the risk of arrhythmia reoccurrence.
