“Can swimming pools cause rashes in children?”
My 5 year old son visited a public swimming pool yesterday, and today he has a red rash on his face and neck. Is this likely a reaction to the chlorinated water, or something else? How can we test to see if he has an allergic reaction to chlorine?

It's also important to make sure it is not infectious rash sometimes you can get bacterial infection from contaminated public swimming pools such as streptococcal infection if he has fever, flu type symptoms take him to his regular doctor to get evaluated he will get better with proper antibiotic therapy, however, if he does not have flu-type symptoms or fever, perhaps blood can be drawn to test for allergic reactions, anti-histamines such as Claritin or Zyrtec, Benadryl can be used to treat his rash for allergic reaction.
