It is extremely rare. The only way to know for certain is to have the Zirconia material in contact with your skin (like a bracelet) for a few hours. If a rash or skin irritation occurs that would indicate an allergy.
There is a possibility of a zirconia allergy. Although rare, if you do have a history of allergies, definitely test for zirconia crown or zirconia veneers allergy! For more information, click here:

The high biocompatibility of zirconia will not cause allergies in patients, making the crowns and bridges prepared from zirconia extremely safe for clinical use inside the mouth. Thank you

Probably not
Yes, in theory you can develop a response to any man made material. There would be specific instances when this could occur. There are sensitivities and then there are allergic reactions. Either way, it involves a systemic reaction. If you have a concern, the material can be tested for reactivity to your system by an allergist.

No. Zirconia crowns have never been shown to illicit an immune responses in people. This material has been used in joint replacement with no know problems. The fit and expertise of the dentist is the most determining factor in whether you will have a problem with your crown or not. Choice wisely, not all dentist are the same- not all crowns are the same.
Zirconia is highly biocompatible once it is made into a crown, so having any allergic difficulties would be unlikely.
Not really, there is no study that shows allergic reaction to zirconia.
