Can you eat the day before local anesthesia?

I am a 33 year old male and I will have surgery under local anesthesia. Can you eat the day before local anesthesia?

Yes. But you have to be fasting at least 6 hours before procedure.
Yes. The guidelines for solids and liquids are designed for individuals undergoing any type of procedure involving sedation or general anesthesia. If your procedure is being done under strictly local anesthesia (NOT local with sedation), the assumption would be that you could eat even on the day of surgery. However, it is always best to verify with your surgeon.
