I am a 27 year old female. I want to know if you can feel an egg release from your ovary?

Yes.
Sometimes - it's call Middleschmerz and it is the mid-cycle discomfort that is associated generally with ovulation.

Most women cannot. However, some women do feel a sharp pain at ovulation. This is called mittlesmerz.
Some women can feel the exact day of ovulation( mild pain and spotting) but this is not used as a reliable method to note that you are ovulating.

Yes. What happens is an ovarian cyst will rupture and release an egg. That process is called ovulation. This happens monthly. So, yes, you can feel an egg releasing.
