“Can you touch your nose after a rhinoplasty?”
I am a 25 year old male and I will have a rhinoplasty next week. Can you touch your nose after a rhinoplasty?

Hello. Yes of course. It will be sore though. So touch your nose gently. If you have any further questions or inquiries please visit my website at Drroya.com. Good luck!
Yes you can. There will be a cast on for approximately a week which protects the nose from more than just a touch. Once the cast is removed The bones are partially set and can withstand more than just a touch.
Best to ask your plastic surgeon but you should not touch your nose for at least one week after surgery. Good luck.
Sure, but you won't want to mash on it or manipulate it in any way for a couple of weeks. Your surgeon will tell you what precautions to take.
Yes, with some caution. Most likely you will have internal and external dressings and you should not disturb them. Your doctor will give you instructions post surgery. You do not want to disturb the dressing. After the dressings are removed, you again will be given instructions for the care. Just follow the directions. There will come a time where everything returns to normal activity.
