Pathologist Questions Blurry vision

What could be the cause of my vision suddenly blurring?

I am 29 years old and offsite I am finding that my vision has all of a sudden become blurry and hazy. What could be the reason for this?

The causes of sudden blurred vision are stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA), steep increase in blood pressure, hyphema (blood in your eyes), concussion, infection of the eye, migraine headache, and eye injury. Consult with your healthcare provider and ophthalmologist. Thank you.
Hello,

There are many reasons that could potentially cause blurry vision. It could be caused by trauma to the eye like a laceration or an abrasion, damage to the retina. There are other very serious potential causes that, although rare, should not be excluded like a stroke or compression to the optic nerve due to a mass or tumor. But as I said, these are very rare causes and should not be the first thing to think of. It is very important to know the onset of the symptoms, if you are experiencing pain, if you feel any other symptom like headaches, dizziness, nausea, etc. Also, is your vision blurry in one eye or both?
