Cardiologist Questions Blood circulation

Why is my dad having cold hands and feet after a long flight?

My father is 70 years old and often complains of cold feet and hands after he has taken a long flight. Could this be a symptom of something serious? Could it be a problem with blood circulation?

If he has coronary disease, this could be either a sign of bad circulation in the legs and US of arterial arteries in leg would diagnose it.
Deep vein thrombosis
It’s possible, but must look at risk factors (i.e., prior disease, lipids, high blood pressure, peripheral vascular disease, and more). I would recommend a cardiovascular workup, echo and perhaps nuclear imaging, can give so much good information at low risk, always consider good natural resources.
