If you do not have pain with it then yes it can be normal. It could either be the way that you are running or a weakness in your quad muscles. You could see a physical therapist to get a running assessment.
If you didn't feel any pain after that, I would say it's normal. If it happened often, you need to see a specialist.
It’s never normal to hear this sounds on knees. It may suggest may things like early stage arthritis, or stiffness or even some tear considering other symptoms. You need to get checked your self with physical therapist.
You should have a physical therapist take a look at the knee. Further recommendations would be made at that time
Are you having any pain when you hear cracking sound? If not, no worries, or you need to see a therapist.
No it's not. See a physical therapist.
This could be from crepitus, where the joint surfaces are not as smooth as when we were born. If there are no other symptoms, you should be okay to continue your training. Best of luck in meeting your goals.
Cracking is normal in joints, but not if it's painful. That being said, i don't recommend just running for losing weight. Watching what you eat, strength training, good sleep habits, and
a variety of cardiovascular exercises are important. Just don't run. Not all exercises are good for you at this given time.
