My mom is 70 years old with a CKD problem and a creatinine level of 5.7. She has been diagnosed with some heart blockages and needs to have a bypass. Is there any risk involved?

There is risk to everything. Most importantly her nephrologist and cardiologist should work closely together to minimize risks.
Risk is that she will probably be started on dialysis pre or both heart surgery. But she needs the surgery
