“Is it safe for my mother to take CRESP 40 injections by herself?”
My mother is 70 years old and is currently having low hemoglobin due to her kidney function being low. The doctor has recommended her to take CRESP 40 injections to increase the hemoglobin levels. We were getting it regularly from our family doctor, but he is travelling next month. Can she take CRESP 40 injections herself?

Patients can learn to do injections on their own (or have a family member help)- the issue may be obtaining the medication if you normally get it from your doctor. I would consult with him and see what he suggests.

The doctor should have a physician on call who can handle and oversee things like this.
