My mother is 89 years old. She has a cut on her leg that isn't improving even though I'm cleaning it every day along with medications. What could it be? I am concerned because of her age.

With what is it being cleaned and what medications are being given? Nutritional status is an important consideration for wound healing as could be various chronic illnesses. An evaluation is indicated.
Not very good wound healing may be because of a poor diet, underlying diabetes, or bad circulation. I recommend you go to your doctor.
