Pediatrician Questions Head injury

After a head injury my daughter is not able to speak. What could it be?

My daughter had a serious fall and suffered from a head injury. After this injury she has been unable to speak properly. Is it just a trauma from the fall or something else? Please help.

Any head injury can affect speech. This can be temporary from swelling or can be permanent if part of the brain was injured.
It could be serious. Call 911 and make sure she is seen in ed while keeping neck immobile
She needs to get evaluated asap - children's hosp. ER or neurologist - this isn't right!
Hope you have seen a Doc. Looks like fall may have caused it.
Could be a concussion, but I would have that evaluated immediately.
How old is the child? If she's just learning to speak, it could be a setback. However to be on the safe side, have a neurologist check or ask his opinion.
Your daughter needs an immediate evaluation by a Neurologist.
