We have all been using hand sanitizers lately to prevent infections. Are they really effective?

Yes, they contain anti-microbials that kill many bacteria, etc that cause infections. Dr. Pam
Yes. They do. The alcohol destroys the outer fatty layer of both viruses as well as bacteria. This kills bacteria and destroys the viruses.
