Ophthalmologist Questions Vision loss

Do I have a scratch on my eye?

I'm a 28-year-old woman, and I took a hard fall the other day and landed on my face. It's been a couple of days since my fall and my vision still is a little blurry. Is it possible that the blurriness is from a scratched eye?

A complete ophthalmologic exam should be performed to determine if you have a corneal abrasion.
Not likely. From a blunt trauma usually it’s inflammation in the eye. Could also be bleeding inside the eye. Many things can happen from this type of trauma and you should get it checked by an eyecare professional.
There are many reasons for blurred vision after a fall, some of which could lead to further vision loss. You should see an ophthalmologist for a complete dilated eye exam ASAP, or go to a comprehensive hospital emergency room.

It's possible. See a doctor for review.
It is possible, but unlikely. If you scratched your cornea it would be extremely painful. If you scratched the lid or the lid was swollen, it could be blurry without having pain in the eye. Would need further examination to determine which was causing your problem.
