Do they put you to sleep for a lipoma removal?

I am a 42 year old male. I want to get my lipoma removed from my arms. Do they put you to sleep for a lipoma removal?

You do not have to even if it's big, but you must be cooperative.
Depends on the size of the lipoma. If you are in hospital, probably you will receive either a block or IV sedation. If the lesion is a huge one, then general anesthesia is recommended.
