Does astigmatism come back after LASIK?

I am a 31 year old female. I want to know if astigmatism comes back after LASIK?

LASIK or laser vision correction is the only way to treat astigmatism, and rarely needs to be retreated.
It doesn’t come back, but your eyes change your entire life. So you can develop Astigmatism after LASIK.
The cornea is an elastic structure that if allowed to dry will change shape, ie astigmatism. LASIK usually makes the cornea drier. Rubbing esp from allergies also can induce astigmatism. Allergies are made worse by dry eyes. So yes astigmatism can come back after refractive surgery.

It can. It is not guaranteed that you will never wear eyeglasses again after LASIK. If you’re experiencing problems with your vision, I recommend visiting your local optometrist to complete a comprehensive eye exam.
Usually not if adequately treated.
There could be residual astigmatism left during surgery
