Does bronchitis show up on the CT scan?

I am a 55 year old male. I want to know if bronchitis shows up on the CT scan?

Yes...Bronchitis can be seen in CT scan study of chest
Not usually, however, there are some findings that may be seen such as endobronchial mucous. Bronchiolitis may be seen as a tree in bud pattern, but this is a different entity. There are findings on CT that may predispose to recurring bronchitis such as bronchiectasis. CT most often would help differentiate a clinical diagnosis of bronchitis from something more serious requiring different treatment such as pneumonia.
Yes, very frequently. It can present as thickening of your airways or very tiny ground glass dots in your smaller airways. Occasionally, it can present almost like pneumonia.
