Does general anesthesia slow heart rate?

I am a 34 year old male. I want to know if general anesthesia slows heart rate?

General anesthesia can slow heart rate slightly. It is no different than the fact that heart rates slow when you sleep. Anesthesiologists are there to monitor during general anesthesia and general anesthesia with very well tolerated by a vast majority of patients.
