Pimple popping is not a great idea, since it may result in collagen destruction and permanent scarring. And, even if it doesn't, it most certainly can lead to prolonged redness at the site, which is then can be followed by a disturbingly long period of skin discoloration, known as PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmenation). Resist the urge.
