“What can I do about feeling weak after having the flu?”
I had the flu, which has left me feeling extremely weak. What can I do to regain my strength and energy?

If you truly had influenza, it would be a rare time of the year to contract it. Are you sure you had the flu? Or did you have some other viral illness? Either way, a viral illness can take several weeks to resolve, leaving patients lethargic and weak. If you have no contra indication or barrier to exercise, you should of course do 20-30 minutes of aerobic exercise at least 3-4 times per week. You should hydrate yourself adequately and take in enough calories to cover your exercise debt. If your symptom are not improving or if they are worsening, consult your doctor.
