I just traveled a 24 hour flight and my feet felt very numb after the journey. It is now about 12 hours since I reached my destination but the numbness still continues. What could be the reason?

It could be related to high pressure in the vein of your legs or related to nerve compression due to prolonged sitting position. I would recommend you to see your doctor to obtain the appropriate referral if necessary.

Just sitting for a long time can do that. Try walking every few hours and if that doesn't help, you can consult a vascular specialist.

That is hard to answer without an examination. Typically its neurological, as in a pinched nerve, either in the leg or lower back, but could also be related to circulation. If it persisted you need to be evaluated
