“Why does my mother have frequent mood swings?”
My mother was a very patient person, but lately she has become very intolerant and loud. Lately she's been shouting at us whenever we interact with her. Why is this happening?

Please help your mother schedule appointment with her doctor. Her behavior, mood could be related to multiple factors. She should be screen for infection, dementia, depression, etc..
